Method Recycling

Method’s 60L recycling bins made from 50% recycled materials help organisations to better separate their waste and recycling; so that they recycle more, and waste less.

The bins create flexible recycling stations that are placed regularly through open-plan spaces such as the office floor, kitchens or event spaces. The beautiful design and coloured lids encourage users to consider their waste habits, driving effective recycling to become a habit.

Depending on the needs of the business, there are a number of signage options to further educate users and help them to separate waste.

Recycling Signs

Complement your waste bins with effective communication signs designed by industry experts, which minimise training requirements and ensure your program is a success.

Designed by our local industry experts, all Educational options are created in the Australian Standard Waste Colours, integrating environmental images with text and graphical information about each specific waste stream. We have a range of options available to suit your space requirements, preferences and waste stream requirements.

Alternatively, partner with our talented graphic designer who shares your passion for the environment and can work with you to customise a solution to complement your unique sustainability goals and branding.

Step-On Wheelie Bin

The Step-On Wheelie bin is a cost-effective recycling solution for outdoors. It has the durability you would expect from a classic wheelie bin, with the added convenience of a foot operated pedal system and educational signs.

Australia has fully embraced the Wheelie Bin since its introduction in the seventies. The sturdiness and convenience of this system is well understood, both in terms of maneuverability for the user and the efficiency of automated collection.

Our Step-On Wheelie bin leverages this effective design, adding proven vinyl educational signs about recycling and a durable pedal mechanism, which allows users to access the unit without touching the lid. Such additions significantly improve the convenience, hygiene and simplicity of public place recycling and so drive better recycling outcomes.

Bulk E-Waste Station Bin

At some stage, most Australian households store potentially hazardous materials such as batteries, paints, chemicals, and gas bottles. Whilst these items are restricted from Roadside Collection, the EPA and Local Councils are increasingly encouraging residents to attend Community Recycling Centres. These centres ensure this problem waste can be safely deposited, and where possible, recycled.

As community awareness and demand increases, the efficiency of these centres is key.

The Bulk E-waste Station is designed for Community Recycling Centres to provide clear diversion streams for smaller problem waste items, which can then be efficiently managed with minimal manual handling.

Bins MultiSort Recycling

The MultiSort Recycling Range, featuring best practice waste diversion features, is proven to increase recycling and reduce contamination in offices and public spaces.

Quite simply, it makes recycling easy!

The MultiSort system is a modular recycling solution, which provides you the flexibility to select individual recycling bins for each specific location, whether you choose a standard Four Stream solution for the common office space, a Confidential Paper bin for the photocopier room, and a Coffee Cup lid to manage contamination as people step out of the lifts each morning. The range even extends to more unique streams including solutions for clinical spaces and Soft Plastics or Dry Waste, for leaders in sustainability who are aiming for zero waste.

MURFE Recycling Bin

Our popular MURFE was specifically designed to increase recycling in multi-unit dwellings by providing a convenient way to separate, store and transport recyclables. Proven successful, this clever and convenient design has now become a popular option for all types of environments.

The MURFE is available in four options, Landfill (Red), Paper Recycling (Blue), Recycling (Yellow) and Soft Plastics (Orange). Each unit is manufactured in Australian Standard waste colours, and features the waste stream label and symbol, hot stamped on the front.

Coffee Cup Recycling Bin

In Australia, the majority of us start the morning with a coffee. It is a habit many of us love, including the addicted team at Source Separation Systems, however the downside to Australia’s addiction is that approximately three billion takeaway coffee cups are placed in bins annually, which often contaminate recycling streams.

The highly visible, fun Coffee Cup Separation Station has been designed to address the litter risks associated with this waste, and ensure lids, cups and liquid are all cleanly separated into individual streams, making it easier to recycle more components, if the technology is available.
