Description
The WEIMA PUEHLER A Series is a hydraulic label press designed for dewatering and compacting labels and residues generated during bottle washing and beverage container recycling processes. The system reduces moisture content, volume and handling costs while enabling efficient recovery and discharge of liquids for recirculation or disposal. Its robust stainless-steel construction allows continuous operation and easy integration into existing recycling and production lines.
Operating Principles
Material is fed into a hydraulic press chamber where it is compressed into dense, dimensionally stable discs. The angled discharge tube creates counter-pressure that enhances compaction and dewatering performance. Moisture and process liquids are collected in an integrated lye collection system for controlled discharge or recirculation. The simple hydraulic design minimises wear, resists contamination and foreign materials, and supports reliable 24-hour operation with PLC-controlled settings for pressure and cycle times.
