Operations
Description The Strautmann BaleTainer is a fully automatic baling system designed for high-volume recycling operations. It compacts cardboard, plastic film, aluminium cans and PET bottles into dense, marketable bales with minimal operator involvement. The system can be integrated into existing waste handling processes and operates continuously, reducing labour requirements, storage space, transport costs and waste collection frequency while improving recycling outcomes and resource recovery revenues.
Operating Principles Material is fed into a large loading chamber without pre-shredding. A swing arm automatically pushes material to a rotor, which transfers it into the press chamber. The machine automatically compacts material using 600 kN of pressure, forms dense bales, ties them automatically with wire and ejects them without operator intervention. Designed for continuous operation, the BaleTainer delivers high-density bales that optimise truck payloads, lower transport costs, and improve recycling efficiency.
