Bins MultiSort Recycling

The MultiSort Recycling Range, featuring best practice waste diversion features, is proven to increase recycling and reduce contamination in offices and public spaces.

Quite simply, it makes recycling easy!

The MultiSort system is a modular recycling solution, which provides you the flexibility to select individual recycling bins for each specific location, whether you choose a standard Four Stream solution for the common office space, a Confidential Paper bin for the photocopier room, and a Coffee Cup lid to manage contamination as people step out of the lifts each morning. The range even extends to more unique streams including solutions for clinical spaces and Soft Plastics or Dry Waste, for leaders in sustainability who are aiming for zero waste.

MURFE Recycling Bin

Our popular MURFE was specifically designed to increase recycling in multi-unit dwellings by providing a convenient way to separate, store and transport recyclables. Proven successful, this clever and convenient design has now become a popular option for all types of environments.

The MURFE is available in four options, Landfill (Red), Paper Recycling (Blue), Recycling (Yellow) and Soft Plastics (Orange). Each unit is manufactured in Australian Standard waste colours, and features the waste stream label and symbol, hot stamped on the front.

Vented Kitchen (FOGO) Caddy

Vented Caddies have been the predominant Food Organics, Garden Organics (FOGO) solution in South Australia for years, as a result of local studies which concluded that Vented Caddies increased food waste diversion and continuing participation in FOGO Programs.

The ventilation encouraged around the breathable Compost-A-Pak® liners in this unit also allows moisture to escape, resulting in less condensation and reduced smells.

This Vented Caddy is specifically designed, printed and manufactured in Australia, for Australian families. Designed by industry experts, this Caddy features a number of unique features including the educational in-mould label, flexible lid design, arched base ribs and liquid capture wells.

Reflecting our team’s commitment to the circular economy, the unit can be manufactured from up to 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Content, usually collected from the contents of council roadside collection bins. The standard option currently includes a minimum of 80% Post-Consumer recycled content.

Solid Kitchen (FOGO) Caddy

This Kitchen Caddy is specifically designed, printed and manufactured in Australia, for Australian families. Reflecting our team’s commitment to the circular economy, the unit is manufactured from at least 80% Post-Consumer Recycled Content, usually collected from the contents of council roadside collection bins.

Building on proven conventional caddy designs, this Kitchen Caddy is packed with new features including an in-mould lid label, which revolutionises educational messages.

At Source Separation Systems we believe small actions can change the world and so, we are passionate about inspiring Australian families to live more sustainably. This Kitchen Caddy has proven successful in improving organics waste diversion in many council Food Organics, Garden Organics (FOGO) programs.

Compact 5 Kitchen (FOGO) Caddy

Achieving high organics adoption is all about providing convenience. For some spaces, the conventional Kitchen Caddies are just too large.

This 5 Litre Compact Caddy retains all our usual features. There is no sacrifice on the opening width for plate scraping, and it cleverly retains the educational advantages of the in-mould label. However, with the new thin design, the Compact Caddy cleverly optimises space.

If you can fit a cereal box in your cupboards, you can pack away this caddy, making it perfect for MUDS, lifestyle and retirement villages. In corporate spaces, the sleeker design fits more neatly in kitchenettes behind the sink, or next to the coffee machine to collect tea leaves and coffee grinds.

Coffee Cup Recycling Bin

In Australia, the majority of us start the morning with a coffee. It is a habit many of us love, including the addicted team at Source Separation Systems, however the downside to Australia’s addiction is that approximately three billion takeaway coffee cups are placed in bins annually, which often contaminate recycling streams.

The highly visible, fun Coffee Cup Separation Station has been designed to address the litter risks associated with this waste, and ensure lids, cups and liquid are all cleanly separated into individual streams, making it easier to recycle more components, if the technology is available.

Separation Stations Bins

Modern, effective and flexible, the Separation Station combines the best practice features of the MultiSort system with the classic clean lines of Stainless Steel.

The units have a total capacity of 90 Litres and are available in a large range of recovery streams including Landfill, Recycling, Paper, Coffee Cups and Dry Waste, so you can build up customised stations for each location. Each stream is highlighted in Australian Standard Waste colours with a laser cut steel front panel and differentiated apertures around which symbols and text is also printed.

Designed and made in Australia, these durable single stream stations provide an attractive solution, popular for public spaces and offices in which both aesthetics and effective sustainability practices are prioritised.

The Glen Outdoor Bin

The Glen range is designed and manufactured in Australia. In fact the units are made by Glen and his talented team in Newcastle. No points for guessing where the name comes from!

An effective and durable public place recycling system, The Glen is a perfect solution for those seeking best practice waste diversion design features and high-quality manufacturing at a cost-effective price.

The Glen is available in a 240 Litre capacity, housing a standard MGB, or in a smaller 60 Litre size, housing the MultiSort Base. This smaller size is ideal for both smaller spaces or as a deliberately smaller Landfill stream

Aussie Beach Bin

Hot sand between your toes, wild salty hair, sunburnt noses… the Aussie Beach can be a uniquely fun, but hostile environment. That’s why, between way too many trips to the beach for “site assessments”, the team at Source Separation Systems have leveraged their unique expertise in waste diversion, to design a new public place bin designed specifically for the Australian coastline.

The Aussie Beach Bin is an effective unit, which houses 240 Litre MGB Bins. Made in Australia from Aluminium, this unit has been designed with several unique features to ensure durability.
