Operations
Description Worm Habitat Grande systems allow the processing of 20+ kilos of organic waste per day, creating high value, nutrient rich castings and liquid. Worms breed up in the system to handle waste efficiently without odours.
Operating Principles Feed worms the same volume of food waste and carbon source (i.e shredded paper, cardboard, leaf litter etc). For example, 1 bucket of food scraps plus one bucket of shredded paper. If the waste is part processed prior to feeding (i.e. mulched) the worms will process more waste more efficiently.
