Description
The WEIMA C 150 is a compact briquetting press designed for small to medium-sized businesses. It converts loose waste materials such as wood residues, paper, polystyrene, foam and biomass into dense, easy-to-handle briquettes. By significantly reducing material volume, the machine lowers storage, handling and transport costs while improving workplace cleanliness and reducing dust. The resulting briquettes can also be reused as a fuel source or sold as a recyclable commodity.
Operating Principles
Material is fed into a hopper where an agitator ensures a consistent supply to a screw conveyor. The material is pre-compacted and transferred into the pressing chamber, where a hydraulic system compresses it into dense ~50 mm diameter briquettes. The briquettes are discharged automatically and can be stored, transported or reused. The process delivers substantial volume reduction, improved material handling and lower disposal costs.
