Description The WEIMA PUEHLER E Series is a hydraulic dewatering press designed to separate liquids from packaging waste while simultaneously reducing material volume. Commonly used in beverage, food and packaging facilities, it processes filled or empty cans, PET bottles and similar packaging into compact discs for easier recycling and disposal. The system reduces transport and handling costs, recovers residual liquids and improves recycling efficiency by producing cleaner, more manageable material streams.
Operating Principles Material is loaded into the hopper and compressed by electro-hydraulic cylinders into dense 200 mm discs. During compaction, liquids and semi-liquid contents are extracted and collected in an integrated sump for controlled discharge or recovery. Automatic level sensors start and stop the machine based on hopper fill levels, reducing wear and energy consumption. The robust stainless-steel design handles contaminants and foreign materials while delivering reliable dewatering and volume reduction.
