Description Reverse Vending Machine to collect and sort rigid containers (e.g. beverage containers) into pure material fractions and then compact for optimised storage / logistics. It provides consumers with various incentive options (rewards, vouchers, loyalty points, prizes etc) to recycle. It also offers opportunities for brand or product marketing and advertising, and generating customer loyalty.
Operating Principles The T53 RVM improves both quality and quantity of recycling. It sorts containers into pure saleable material streams, while rejecting contamination, ensuring highest value recyclate and it compacts, or crushes containers for optimum logistics. It provides incentives for use to build maximum recycling volumes. The T53 is best suited to medium throughput volumes - e.g. up to 2-3,000 containers per day.
