Soft Landing creates stable and meaningful jobs for people experiencing barriers to employment. For every 23 mattresses that they collect and recycle each day, they can create a job for someone who really needs one.
Soft Landing divert end-of-life mattresses and ensemble bases from landfill and recover components to recycle.
They operate in NSW, Victoria, WA and the ACT across six sites.
They are a not-for-profit and a social enterprise, certified by Social Traders. The revenue goes entirely to delivering their work.

Pick-up available
Pick-up details: Soft Landing can pick-up your mattress or base directly from your curb outside your home address. The cost for collection ranges from $52 - $80 per item (depending on your location), terms and conditions apply. Book mattress collections through the website.
Dropoff available
Additional information: Soft Landing is also contracted by various councils for special residential collections in Wollongong, Shellharbour, Sutherland, Marrickville, Shoalhaven and Blacktown council areas.
Commercial collections are made in all of the above including Sydney CBD and hotel chains.
Open Mon-Fri: 6am-3pm. Closed public holidays.
