Description
Portable, light weight, flat packed and easy to assemble biogas units for organic waste treatment and off-grid energy production.
Our goal is to provide the food processing industry such as kitchens and canteens at hotels, aged care facilities, restaurants, hospitals as well as households and eco-villages, with the opportunity to access affordable, transportable and easy to assemble and maintain biogas generating units to assist with organic waste management on-site and production of off-the-grid, green energy and organic fertiliser while diverting waste from landfill.
Operating Principles
The waste spends approximately three weeks in the digester where methanisation separates it into two parts:
• A solid part (digester sludge).
• A gaseous part (biogas)
Biogas generated can be used for cooking, lighting, heating or cooling. Biogas appliances, such as gas stoves or gas lamps are required for usage.
The byproduct can be directly applied to plants and gardens as a high quality organic fertiliser.
